1. No personal data collected

Calcy does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All calculations happen entirely in your browser. No numbers, results, or inputs are ever sent to our servers.

2. No accounts or registration

You are not required to create an account or provide any personal details to use any calculator on this site.

3. Analytics

Calcy uses Google Analytics (loaded via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which calculators are most popular and how users navigate between pages. This helps us improve the site.

Google Analytics collects anonymised data such as pages visited, time on page, browser type, and approximate geographic region (country/city level). It does not collect the numbers you enter into any calculator — all calculations happen entirely in your browser and are never sent anywhere.

IP addresses are anonymised before being stored. We do not use Google Analytics data for advertising purposes or share it with third parties. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser settings.

4. Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (prefixed _ga) to distinguish visitors and track sessions. These cookies do not identify you personally. No advertising, social-media, or cross-site tracking cookies are set by Calcy.

5. Third-party services

This site may be hosted on a third-party infrastructure provider. Standard server access logs (IP address, page visited, timestamp) may be retained by the hosting provider for security and uptime monitoring. Calcy does not access or process these logs for marketing purposes.

6. POPIA compliance

We are committed to compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Because we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data held about users of this site.
